Whistleblowing
Whistle blowing is the revelation of anomalies or violations that are occurring in the organisation. These revelations are either made to the general public or to those who are in authority. Lately, whistle blowing has been a common practise to bring out into the open corruption, mismanagement, illegal activities and other malpractices. This has encourage a lot of individuals to bring themselves forward and expose the wrongdoings that otherwise could have gone unnoticed.

More likely, people who come out into the public as whistle-blowers typically get counter-attacks from their employers. To some, such exposures see it as a selfless act, unconcerned with their own welfare when the public is at risk. Very often whistle-blowers find themselves unemployed and their future opportunities are in jeopardy.
