Tax Law
Any financial charge or other levy that is used to impose on an individual or any legal entity by the state refers to a tax. Moreover, subnational entities also impose taxes. In a more technical definition, a tax is a “pecuniary burden laid upon individuals or property to support the government […] a payment exacted by legislative authority. Consist of direct or indirect tax, taxes may be paid in money and “is not a voluntary payment or donation, but an enforced contribution, exacted pursuant to legislative authority” and is “any contribution imposed by government […] whether under the name of toll, tribute, impost, duty, custom, excise, subsidy, aid, supply, or other name.” Furthermore, the codified system of laws that describes government levies on economic transactions refers to tax law.
