Research Institutes

Research institutes are primarily educational organisations established to conduct research on a particular subject to promote a certain cause. Research institutes are mostly peopled by academics with master’s degrees and doctoral degrees that are familiar with the methodologies of their research. Institutes are usually named after the benefactor of their endowments or else named after the type of research they are conducting. Institutes are also used to promote certain advocacies such as human rights, environmental protection and people’s concerns that are deemed urgent and highly demanded by society. As such, there are economics institutes, finance institutes, business institutes, national defence institutes and many others. Institutes are also ideal grounds for training future generations of academics to carry on the work started by these pioneers.
