Institutes
Just like labour organisations, labour institutes also support the efforts of the labour movement to deal with the globalisation of the world economy and its social and political consequence. They do not just create a link but also strengthen them. The networks between trade unions and other civil society organisations with similar interests, most especially in the defence of human and democratic rights and social justice are fortified. These institutes generally tackle issues that would concern both the work force and economy as a whole. It also covers today’s food crisis issues, socialism, the civil society and other current transnational arguments.
