Conferences
International conferences are held around the world to discuss matters of mutual importance. This is especially true with the current global financial crisis that has started to grip the world’s major economies in a downward spiral. Conferences generally are purposely held to discuss or consult other parties for the exchange of viewpoints. These pre-arranged meetings hope to come up with common solutions to common problems and challenges that most countries are facing. There is a sense of urgency when world leaders meet to talk about the problems engulfing most world economies such as deflation, tight credit situations, inflation, unemployment and global worker migrations. Results are often immediate when leaders meet compared to letting their ministers since they have the authority to enter into agreements.
