Christian organisations are motivated and inspired by the Christian faith, understanding of who God is, and how He calls us to work in the world. These serve as the foundation of the organisations by living the teachings of Christ in their daily lives in a profound way. Specifically, faith as the basis of their work means the beliefs of God’s unconditional love for everyone, compassion to human suffering, God’s relationship with everyone, and God’s mercy. Christian organisations believe in Jesus, the Son who serves as the Model of Self-giving Love and calls us to follow His example knowing that we will be most fulfilled in giving ourselves to others in His Name. As of today, many Christian organisations engage into business by selling Christian items, insurance, and the like to help fund their mission.
